Title: Substitute Teacher, Part-timeReports to: PrincipalLocation: Epiphany Cathedral Catholic School | Venice, FLOverviewEpiphany Cathedral Catholic School is seeking a Substitute Teacher to provide educational instruction to students in assigned age group or subject area for short-term assignment. Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver educational instruction using the most efficient and effective methodology for the students assigned when regular teacher is unavailable
• Provide corrective feedback to students and re-teach as necessary, to ensure students have mastered the objections
• Collaborate and clearly communicate with parents/guardians and other educators to assist the students
• Implement approved-course curriculum
• Implement modifications in a student's education plan as required.
• Complete written reports and assigned administrative tasks related to these functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Principal

• Bachelor's Degree
• Florida State Certification (or approved application for Certification)
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and in groups.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask
• Knowledge of theory and practice of student learning styles
• Ability to remain calm and pleasant under stressful circumstances
• Ability to communicate cooperatively and effectively with staff, students and parents.
• Strong computer skills.
