DESCRIPTION: Fills in where needed to ensure efficient operation. Assignment location may vary from day to day. Duties may include washing dishes, clean-up duties and set-up of service areas, serving foods and assisting Kitchen Manager with preparation for meal service as well as operation of computerized point of sale system. Must communicate well with the Kitchen Manager and other staff members. Ability to relate well to students and staff and communicate professionally and respectfully with staff and students. Requires physical ability to manually move, lift, carry, pull or push heavy objects or materials. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly. Must be able to work in noisy and crowded environments. Must work in and around fumes and odors. Requires standing, stooping, bending, lifting, turning and reaching. Must maintain a high standard of personal hygiene. Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: - High School diploma, or equivalent
- Must hold/obtain a valid/current food handler's permit.

- Completed yearly online WSD safeschools training (upon getting on the sub list)
- Send SMDR forms to any school district or daycare/learning center you have work/subbed for. Blank SMDR forms can be found on the District website.

In addition, a background check, based on fingerprints, will be requested from the Washington State Patrol & FBI. Employment is conditional based upon completion of the record check.
