About You: Essential FunctionsProvide direct supervision and technical guidance to Linemen, Groundman, and Apprentices (Line Crews) performing maintenance and construction activities on all electrical construction projects.Responsible for coordinating essential personnel on-site for the project to include crew mobilizationCommunicate and enforce all safety regulationsManage supplies, materials and equipmentAssist with planning, directing and budget activities concerned with the construction of towers, foundations, lines, and other electrical material and equipment used for electrical construction projectsRead and interpret site plans, construction drawings, and scopes of workCommunicate directly with Superintendents, Construction Managers, Project Managers, Line Crews and other project personnel as requiredUnderstand and follow detailed construction schedulesRegular and predictable attendanceThe essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company designated office or field locationUnderstand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable.Other duties as assignedQualificationsPrior experience as a Foreman, General Foreman or Superintendent highly preferredHigh School graduate or equivalentMust presently be qualified to be a Journeyman Lineman.Possession of a valid Commercial driver's license Class A preferred.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints and scopes of workMust be able to coordinate and collaborate with multiple personnel from the field to the officeMust be willing to travel and work away from homeExperience with digger derricks, bucket trucks, trenchers, and groundwork with utility crews is requiredAbility to work at heights up to and above 100 feet preferredMust be able to communicate effectively, have good teamwork skills and able to understand, comprehend, and follow directions in the workplaceMust have a quality work ethic and be committed to optimum customer serviceMust be able to work additional hoursA high awareness of safety and compliance with company safety rules is required at all times What We Offer: Compensation & BenefitsSalary commensurate with experiencePaid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
