About this Opportunity: As a Subject Matter Expert - Financial Planning, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service and focusing on case management for Orion. This position will support service teams by providing guidance and instruction in order to push cases and projects to a completion. The position is also responsible for excellent client support and servicing clients. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us. For External Candidates: Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE; Idaho Falls, ID; or Lehi, UT. In this role, you'll get to: - Contribute to evaluation, implementation and management of Orion's financial planning platform and assist with projects related to financial planning system version upgrades
- Assist in gathering requirements from users and create related project specification documents, which include mathematical calculations, business user interfaces, application of system, etc.
- Collaborate with programming team in setting prioritization on quarterly build delivery schedules
- Conduct and participate in quarterly financial planning system evaluations, including creation of regression test plans (current / future state analysis) for new functionality, and make recommendation of final solutions; perform quality assurance testing of automated solutions and newly developed workflows and other assignments as necessary
- Participate in periodic disaster recovery testing as it relates to reporting related operations
We're looking for talent who: - Has knowledge of industry rules and regulations pertaining to various security instruments and markets
- Has knowledge and understanding of anti-money laundering rules and procedures required to maintain compliance
- Has minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
- Possess prior experience in a trading-related role for an investment advisor
- Possess prior experience with financial planning tools
- Has minimum of 1 year of experience in the financial services industry or prior/current employment with Orion
- Obtain Orion Industry Certification
- Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range: $56,046.00 - $82,313.00 The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
