Subcontract Manager - Lockheed Martin : Job Details

You will be the Subcontract Manager for the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) program team. Our team is responsible for performing subcontract management duties to support the development, production, and global sustainment of complex subsystems, components, and hardware.

What You Will Be Doing As the Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing subcontract management activities, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of program objectives. You will play a critical role in supporting the development, production, and sustainment of complex subsystems and components. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing subcontracts to ensure compliance with program requirements and regulations
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives
• Developing and implementing subcontract management plans and strategies
• Conducting risk assessments and mitigating potential issues

Must be a U.S. citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

P2P, SC Nav, Tableau, and/or SAP experience.

TINA Negotiation experience.

Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering, as they relate to subcontract management.

Ability to create and present using Microsoft Office tools.

Ability to interact with senior management, suppliers and other external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between functional organizations.

Ability and willingness to travel to supplier facilities to participate in meetings and to resolve subcontract/program issues on-site, as needed.

Understands procurement on a development program.

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
