Then this new position at Betches might be for you!Betches is seeking a Style Director to envision, launch, and run our Betches Style Instagram handle. This role will work hand-in-hand with our VP of Editorial, Chief Content Officer, and more key stakeholders on developing a vision and craft a distinct style-forward identity, and be responsible for creating best-in-class original content for Betches Style across platforms. The ideal candidate is not only obsessed with fashion and personal style, but is also a hilarious, creative mind with expert knowledge of social media and all of its evolving trends. The ideal candidate is also brimming with ideas that span all platforms, and is excited to create and appear in video.The Style Director will also work cross-functionally with several teams in our organization, collaborating on branded content, video, web, sales, and more. Our Style Director should be proactive, creative, collaborative, organized, efficient, detail-oriented, enthusiastic — and obsessed with Betches and all things Style.This position reports into our VP of Editorial.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop an editorial vision for Betches Style across Betches platforms, as well as how Betches Style might grow and evolve at our organization
• Create creative, hilarious, and informative original content that can live on Instagram, and on Betches' other platforms (i.e. TikTok, YouTube, Threads, etc.)
• Appear on camera as a representative of the Betches brand for reels, TikTok, and other video content
• Manage the day-to-day content and operations for the main Betches Style Instagram account
• Collaborate frequently with sales on go-to-market new creative series that drive value for both the Betches brand and clients, and attend client meetings with the sales team
• Work closely with managers and our data team to assess performance, optimize content reach and engagement, and ensure the brand meets audience growth and revenue KPIs
• Oversee community management and foster a highly engaged audience by consistently delivering high-quality and unique content
• Conceptualize and execute entertaining, innovative, repeatable social franchises for the Instagram Feed and Stories
• Craft witty, hilarious, and relatable copy for social media posts across platforms, ensuring it seamlessly reflects Betches' distinctive voice and tone
• Collaborate frequently and efficiently with other areas of the content team, including studios and branded teams
• Identify emerging, soon-to-be-viral trends on Instagram and TikTok and seize relevant opportunities for social coverage accordingly
• Develop and nurture relationships with content creators for collaboration opportunities
• Work with marketing and content teams on social-forward strategies to improve and reach new audiences

Qualifications

• 6-8 years experience in fashion and social media
• Proven track record in producing engaging video and static content for social media
• A demonstrated ability to write engaging, funny, and clean social media copy in line with the Betches voice
• Knowledge of, passion for, and experience with established and emerging social media platforms
• The agility and flexibility to work in a small, fast-moving team and a growing business
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with and strong enthusiasm for entire Betches Media brand
• Quick, witty creative mindset with a knack for ideation and thoughtful experimentation
• Relevant experience with developing and executing strategy for live coverage events (fashion week, award shows, red carpets), including availability for breaking news and live coverage opportunities that may occur outside of typical business hours
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva or After EffectsExperience working with e-commerce and creating branded content is a plus

Compensation

The expected annual base salary for this role is $115,000 - $140,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors such as location are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation and offer package will include the following perks below.
