E. W Scripps is hiring a part time Studio Technician at WEWS in Cleveland. As a Studio Technician you'll play a crucial behind-the-scenes role ensuring our productions run flawlessly for our viewers. WHAT YOU'LL DO:Prepare the studio and complete all necessary set-ups for broadcasts. Assign and set up microphones for on-air talent and conduct sound checks. Coordinate studio positioning and placement for live shows. Operate teleprompter and cameras during both live and taped productions. Monitor equipment usage and charging systems. Assist the technical director with troubleshooting and resolving technical problems during production. Remove roadblocks effectively as they occur in the studio WHAT YOU'LL NEED:Associates degree in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred Specialized training/certification may be required.
