Job Description :

Core Pilates NYC is seeking an EXCEPTIONAL part time (to full-time) Studio and Client Coordinator/Manager to join our team for a permanent position in our Flatiron Pilates studio.

Administrative Must-Haves / Requirements

  • You ll oversee all studio functions from sales to instructors and clients
  • Be UPBEAT and assertive to be a leader that our team and clients can count on.
  • Be a wiz with and have fun with the written word. Exceptional and smooth communication skills with our team and with a very diverse client base is vital.
  • Be super comfortable with the computer and google docs and sheets and set up all for efficiency. Canva, emails, technology fluency is great
  • Experience with MindBody Online or a similar Scheduling Platform is a big plus
  • Please have a sense of humor and yes, take things seriously but also have fun and create that spirit in the space. We always strive for a memorable experience in all we do here.
  • Be a Yes I can person and have the desire and ability to figure things out and problem solve.
  • Know how to keep our clients happy and content and to deescalate any negative situation and turn it around
  • Hyper organized and be able to set up efficient systems and reports and always see how things can be improved operationally.
  • Must attend weekly team meetings, organize monthly studio/staff meetings, collaborate with education director, organize events
  • Oversee the onboarding and training of work-study team every 6 months
  • Be creative and fun - and have IDEAS to keep the studio vibe and community connected!
  • Responsible, punctual, trustworthy go without saying!

Sales must haves:

  • Create a sales system to foster attendance and retention
  • Convert Intro package clients into memberships and/or packages using reporting, our Mindbody software and other systems
  • Ability to manage and drive 4 revenue streams: memberships, classes, private training, and teacher training programs
  • Know what leads are and how to organize a system to nurture them and convert them to sales and memberships

Leadership must haves:

  • Initiate instructor evaluations and assist in mentorship/disciplinary action as needed
  • Independently make decisions related to high level customer service
  • Enforce studio policies and procedures with clients, teachers and apprentices
  • Always have ideas and solutions on the ready! Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement

Duties Include (you will wear lots of hats as a small biz, so they are not limited to )

Opening and/or Closing the Studios

Supervision and Organization of Multiple Schedules including clients, instructors and front desk personnel

Managing the cleaning and maintenance of studio

Serve as the main point of contact for all clients and teachers

  • Answer phone calls and emails
  • Participation in team events
  • Generating monthly and/or quarterly reports
  • Attend events for networking
  • Creating Team newsletter and client newsletter monthly
