Student Worker - Writing Center Tutors - Indiana University of Pennsylvania : Job Details

The Kathleen Jones White Writing Center at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) is seeking applications from self-motivated students who possess excellent communication skills (writing, reading, speaking, and listening) to work as writing center tutors. Tutors in the writing center work in person and offer face-to-face, online synchronous, and online asynchronous writing tutorials and may also have an opportunity to offer workshops (and gain presentation and teaching experience). Federal and/or State Work Study are required for Fall 2024 hiring at this time. Once you have applied and we check your FWS eligibility, you will be contacted and asked to provide a writing sample and two faculty references. To be considered, applicants must submit a writing sample and have a successful interview with the Writing Center director.
