The Music Department is looking for degree peer mentors. Two for each degree program: Music Education Music Industry Bachelor of Arts in Music Required Qualifications MUST be a music major Sufficient knowledge of musical terms to proficiently educate music students Able to teach the fundamentals of the art of music Critical thinking skills associated with reading and writing music Must be able to work independently and self-driven Must be punctual, dependable and trustworthy Performance experience with a variety of instruments Knowledgeable of all majors, class requirements, and the program in general Ability to mentor as a positive role model Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprints).
