Peer-Led Session Leader - The Mathematical and Computer Sciences Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania is seeking applications from motivated, personable students who are interested in leading inquiry-based sessions for students in Math 125 (Calculus I), Math 126 (Calculus II), Math 171 (Introduction to Linear Algebra), or Math 110 (Algebra and Trigonometry). Applicants must have passed the class they are peer leading sessions for, or a higher level class, in order to lead the peer sessions. This job is 4 hours per week during the semester, for 10-11 total weeks, and includes one hour of face-to-face contact with other students once per week. This position is funded by an NSF grant for S-COAM: Scholarships Creating Opportunities in Applied Mathematics.
