Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a Dual Enrollment Counselor to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCE's Dual Enrollment department. Position Summary/Purpose: The purpose of this position is to service and assist with the enrollment and retention of Dual Enrollment students. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
- Contacting prospective students (phone and email).
- Processing applications.
- Collecting applicable admissions documentation.
- Collecting and advising to tuition requirements.
- Providing thorough customer support and advisement.
- Reviewing billing and roster information for partnering school districts.
- These duties will be completed with limited supervision and prompt, disciplined work ethic, as well as customer service are a must for this role.
Qualifications: - Willingness to provide excellent customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to work, learn, and be flexible.
- Must be available to work during the Fall and Summer breaks.
- Must be available to work shifts on 4 of 5 weekdays each week.
- Must be able to work close to maximum hours each week (20 during school times, up to 40 during breaks, including Summer).
Education: Grand Canyon Education is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
