Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) is seeking applications from self-motivated students who are capable of restocking costumes in our costume vault. We are looking for students with initiative, who are detail-oriented, proficient with sorting clothing, and reliable. DUTIES INCLUDE: Other general office duties include but are not limited to: Classifying clothing by the era. Prepping clothing and fabric to be stored. Storing clothing and fabric. Restoring clothing to neutral (ex. taking out alterations and nametags). Position Qualifications REQUIRED:You must have federal work-study in your financial aid. Either have successfully passed a costume tech class OR can pass a sewing test. PREFERRED:Previous sewing, constructing, and altering knowledge. Knowledge about clothing throughout the ages.
