Student Tutor Present daily activities with groups of children. Organize and prepare the learning environment and prepare needed materials and supplies. Assist individual, small and large groups of children in various instruction-related activities. Plan, implement and supervise activities and programs for students in accordance with District policies and procedures. Assist the children in making a satisfactory transition from home to the after-school program. Provide reinforcement for positive attitudes and social skills. Provide support for regular academic programs, with activities in literature, music, art, math, oral language, and physical education. Required Qualifications Little to minimal prior experience.
