Position Type: Student Services/Student Support Case Manager Date Posted: 7/28/2025 Location: Student Services SEGUIN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT Job DescriptionJOB TITLE: Student Support Specialist/Case Manager WAGE/HOUR STATUS: Exempt Grant Funded - 2025 - 2026 School Year REPORTS TO: Student Support Services/Campus Principals PAY GRADE: Professional (1) DEPT/SCHOOL: Assigned Campus(es) DAYS EMPLOYED: 187 DATE REVISED: July 2025 PRIMARY PURPOSE: To provide trauma-informed and culturally responsive services to Seguin ISD students, within a multi-tiered system of support, in order to identify social, emotional, and behavioral issues and attendance barriers to improve academic achievement. QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish - preferred.
  • Two years experience working with at-risk youth and families.
  • Experience with program delivery, school systems, and community collaborations and partnerships.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
  • Knowledge and experience with trauma informed practices.
  • Knowledge and experience with evidence based mental health interventions.
  • Knowledge of prevention and intervention strategies, including behavior management interventions and experiential learning.
  • Knowledge of and experience with programs addressing prevention and intervention of self harm, drug use, and suicide.
  • Knowledge and experience in conducting needs assessments, data collection, and analysis.
  • Ability to research, develop, interpret, and implement programs and interventions.
  • Ability to follow guidelines and be adaptable to change.
  • Strong consultation skills working with students, families, school personnel, and community partners to develop individualized student supports to achieve student success.
PRIMARY GOAL: Collaboration within campus and district staff to create, support, and coordinate multi tiered supports for all students in Seguin ISD.
