About the position:

The Student Success Specialist provides critical support to IBHE's student success initiatives by coordinating student-focused programs, grants, and partnerships; assists in grant administration and support of other student success, basic needs, and mental health initiatives.

This is a covered position under the State Universities Civil Service System.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Manages assigned student-focused programs, grants and partnerships:

Assists with applicable grant administration and reportingCoordinates student success convenings and eventsTracks program participation and institutional engagementProvides project management and communication support for student services initiativesPrepares data summaries and reportsSupports Communities of Practice, conferences, and other trainingsCoordinates communication to institutional stakeholders as directed

Other duties as assigned, within scope of position

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution1+ year of experience working with student-focused programs

Required Skills:

Knowledge of student programs, organizations, and relevant resourcesAbility to establish a communicative role between institutions and studentsAbility to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and peers

Preferred skills:

Experience with grant administration and reportingExperience with project managementExperience with summarizing and reporting on data

Organizational Relationship

Position reports to the Director of Student Success Strategy.

There are no direct reports to this position.
