Job Description The Student Success Department is seeking a highly motivated and organized Student Success Coordinator to join our team. This full-time position is part of the Learning Center and is responsible for engaging on-campus students with academic resources. This role involves outreach and marketing of academic support services to ensure students are aware of and utilize available resources. Job functions include but are not limited to coordinating with faculty and staff to identify at-risk students, maintaining detailed records of student interactions and outcomes, and participating in orientation programs and student success initiatives. Job purpose
  • The Student Success Coordinator is part of the Student Success team and is responsible for engaging on-campus students with academic resources. This role includes managing academic alerts, academic renewal programs for students on probation, helping develop summer events like bridge programs and orientation, and developing and implementing a comprehensive tutoring program that serves both in person and online students. Along with other Student Success initiatives.
Duties and responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, train and supervise student and professional tutors for in-person, online academic support and professional tutors.
  • Promote tutoring services and other supplemental instruction opportunities to the campus community
  • Manage receive and process academic alerts submitted by campus community
  • Manage the academic renewal process for students on academic probation
  • Assist Student Success team with summer orientation responsibilities
  • Assist in the directing of the WesBridge summer bridge program
  • Manage Marlin Textbook Access program with online bookstore partner
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Vice President for Student Success
