The Role

As a Student Onboarding Assistant, you'll be the friendly, organized point of contact for new and re-entering students. You'll coordinate essential documentation, track admissions requirements, and ensure every student feels supported as they begin their academic journey. In this role, you'll collaborate with Admissions Advisors, faculty, and staff to create a seamless onboarding experience that sets students up for long-term success.

What You'll Do
  • Monitor and support newly enrolled students through the admissions process
  • Track key onboarding requirements, including financial aid packaging, background checks, and drug screens
  • Ensure admissions files are accurate, complete, and accessible
  • Prepare and share lists of accepted students with program directors and departments
  • Collaborate with Admissions Advisors to maintain accurate student pipelines
  • Assist with registration and school events such as orientations, graduations, and receptions
  • Serve as backup support for the front desk when needed
  • Provide accurate data for reporting and audits
  • Contribute to a welcoming, student-centered environment where every interaction matters

Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience: 23 years of administrative support (academic setting preferred)
  • Familiarity with Campus Nexxus, Microsoft Excel, Salesforce (CRM), and Outlook is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • A service-minded, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative team environment
