Student Nurse OR Tech - Operating Room - Per Diem - Guthrie Healthcare : Job Details

The Student Nurse OR Tech will aid the Operating Room team members prior, during, and after surgical procedures. The main functions of this position will include transporting patients/specimens; obtaining supplies/laboratory products; opening supplies, and maintaining a clean environment within the department. Education, License, & Cert: High School Diploma or GED required. Currently enrolled in a RN or LPN nursing program. Certified in Basic CPR within 6 months of hire. Experience: No experience required. School Education: High School Grad or Equivalent Essential Functions: Transporting patients and lab products/specimens to and from the Operating Room (OR). Protects patient privacy and modesty; is authorized to access secured storage areas in the performance of essential job functions and duties.
