Student Conduct Officer - Texas State University : Job Details

Masters Degree in higher education, student affairs, social work, counseling, psychology, or related field. Minimum 1 year of professional work experience in higher education, social work, or related field. Minimum 1 year of general experience with case management involving behavior, conduct, care, or crisis intervention. Familiarity with disciplinary due process in higher education, the Clery Act, Title IX, FERPA, and First Amendment rights at public institutions of higher education. Experience working in high stress situations when making decisions (such as with angry, frustrated or unpredictable individuals), and demonstrated ability to diffuse, problem-solve, and respond effectively to stressful/sensitive situations. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including the ability to create/prepare accurate, clear, concise, grammatically correct documents/reports for publication.
