Job Description :

AMDA College of the Performing Arts, with campuses in New York City and Hollywood, is one of the foremost post-secondary performing arts colleges in the country. AMDA offers various pathways for students to receive unparalleled performing arts education taught by world-class industry professionals, including Professional Conservatory Certificates as well as undergraduate and graduate degrees (Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Arts, Associate of Occupational Studies, Master of Fine Arts and Master of Arts).

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Positively represent AMDA when working with students, parents, and families
  • Share your AMDA experience with prospective families-you are the expert!
  • Assist with on-campus events that occur about 4-6 Saturdays and/or Sundays a semester, including Open House, Accepted Students Reception, and Auditions
  • Lead group tours on-campus independently and with other Student Ambassadors
  • Host walk-in hours for prospective families that stop by campus for a drop-in tour
  • Help provide event management for a successful visit for all families and students
  • Help maintain admissions materials and media room
  • Assist admissions staff with additional responsibilities
Qualifications:
  • Good academic standing
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail-must be self-motivated!
  • Excited to share your AMDA experience with students looking to attend AMDA
  • Ability to work as part of a team
Position Information:
  • The pay for this position is hourly $16.50
