* Coordinate and interface with customer representatives at the brigade and battalion command levels, as well as senior program manager office representatives.* Monitor and maintain configuration management for the Stryker vehicle variants.* Prioritize efforts for a battalion-sized fleet of up to 70 Stryker platforms in unscheduled maintenance, scheduled maintenance, and parts processing.* Use skills, abilities, and workload demands to set mission priorities and maintain fleet operational readiness of 90% or above.* Conduct hands-on or sustainment training programs for General Dynamics Land Systems mechanics and U.S. Army Mechanics, Operators, or Leaders.* Oversee and assist with preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on all Stryker variants, including sub-components and LRUs.* Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions in automotive systems (powerpack FUPP, engine, transmission, cooling, fuel, exhaust, driveline, suspension) using BITE, test equipment, manual troubleshooting, tools, and technical documentation.* Complete maintenance and administrative reports related to duties.* Manage property accountability for all assigned property, providing assistance as needed.* Provide mentorship on welding procedures based on company guidelines.* Perform all duties in accordance with ISO processes.* Serve as site Field Representative, handling environmental, HAZMAT, safety, fire prevention, and administrative functions.******* POTENTIAL ASSIGNMENT LOCATIONS *******JBLM, WA; Ft. Drum, NY; Rose Barracks, Vilseck, Germany; Iraq; Kuwait; Afghanistan; Korea; and other locations as assigned.* 6 to 9 years of related work experience or equivalent military service.* Ability to acquire U.S. Passport within 90 days of hiring.* Stryker vehicle experience preferred.* Military school-trained wheel vehicle mechanic (e.g., US Army MOSs 63B, 63S, 63W, 63B MCM; USMC MOSs 2147, 3521, 3522, 3524) preferred; documented commercial training and/or field experience acceptable.* High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.* Ability to read and interpret troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures, flow diagrams for systems, subsystems, and components.* Willingness to travel on short notice to remote locations for contingency operations.* Ability to work in various environments, including field and maintenance facilities, and in confined spaces within vehicles.* Must pass and maintain company deployment requirements, including physical and background checks.* Dexterity in fingers of both hands.* Ability to carry 70 lbs over 50 feet.* Must obtain and retain a U.S. passport and CAC access.* Multicultural work experience preferred.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint; demonstration may be required.* Supply/property management experience.* Must be certified as a Stryker FSR or complete the Stryker FSR Academy.* Must be a U.S. person.* Ability to gain access to all military installations where work is performed.General Dynamics Land Systems is committed to diversity and equal opportunity employment, making decisions without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, age, military service, veteran status, disability, pregnancy, genetic information, or membership in any protected class.
