Fitch Ratings is seeking a Director to join its Structured Credit group in New York.

About The Team

  • A strategic role influencing debt capital markets through timely, insightful, and forward-looking rating actions and research
How You'll Make An Impact
  • Lead analysis of new and existing ratings on Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) using proprietary models, overseeing rating and surveillance teams
  • Assess transaction documents focusing on credit risk mitigation
  • Prepare, present, and defend rating conclusions to senior credit committees
  • Draft rating action commentary reports to communicate decisions clearly
  • Drive the development and publication of research publications
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering learning and growth
You May Be a Good Fit If
  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or related fields
  • You have at least ten years of experience, preferably in structured finance, with proven leadership skills
  • You possess strong analytical, curiosity, and attention to detail
  • You can listen and incorporate others' perspectives in consensus-driven environments
  • You demonstrate personal responsibility, initiative, and self-management
  • You have a deep interest in capital markets and structured finance
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office suite

For New York: Base pay range is $140,000 to $180,000 annually, with actual salaries based on education, experience, performance, and other factors. Total compensation may include bonuses, incentives, and benefits.
