Position: Project Manager - Structural Engineering

Location: Memphis, Tennessee

Work Schedule: Hybrid

Metric are actively hiring for a Structural Engineer who is interested in diversifying their responsibilities into project management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. You'll be the main point of contact for clients, managing project plans, financials, and ensuring quality projects

Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, develop financial and staffing plans, lead kick-off meetings, and set clear expectations for the design team
• Work in a collaborative environment, manage schedules, and ensure clear communication between the client and project team
• Monitor project budgets, manage additional fees, ensure accurate invoicing, and track receivables
• Develop and implement QA/QC plans to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Confirm project requirements, facilitate communication, attend meetings, and support business development with existing clients
• Oversee the Construction Administration (CA) process and manage project close-out

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 7+ Years of practical structural engineering experience with vertical construction projects
• 3+ Years of project management experience for engineering projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• PE License
• PMP
