Job Description: Contract Structural Engineer (Senior) - Remote Work

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and be proficient in STADD, STRUDL, and ANSYS. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and analysis of complex structural systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural design and analysis of complex structures
  • Prepare and review construction documents
  • Provide technical support to project managers and architects
  • Collaborate with other engineers and consultants to develop and implement solutions

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Advanced Degree preferred)
  • Professional Registration (PE) desired
  • 10+ years of experience in structural engineering related to new construction and/or retrofit of power facilities or similar heavy industrial facilities
  • Detailed knowledge of engineering design principles, competent in structural steel and concrete design, and proficiency with structural codes, standards, and industry methodologies
  • Proficiency in STADD/STRUDL, PCA Column/Mats, ANSYS, MathCAD, Excel, and AutoCAD
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
