Structural Engineer

We're partnering with a well-established multidisciplinary engineering firm in Westchester County to hire a Structural Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects — from complex building structures to municipal and commercial developments.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist in the analysis, design, and detailing of structural systems for new construction and renovation projects. You'll work closely with senior engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective structural solutions that meet client needs and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines throughout all project phases.
• Conduct site visits and field inspections as required.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of structural engineering experience in building design.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis software (e.g., RAM, RISA, ETABS, or STAAD).
• EIT certification required; PE license (or ability to obtain) preferred.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

While not essential, prior experience working on parking garages, high-rise buildings, or large-scale commercial structures would be highly beneficial.
