• Communicate with technical drafting staff, clients, and external project team members
• Prepare preliminary designs for clients
• Review building codes to ensure proper implementation in design
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with construction project managers, architects, civil, and mechanical engineers
• Produce structural calculations for implementation with technical drafting staff during preparation of construction documents and construction
• Create construction-ready design drawings coordinated with all disciplines for completeness and accuracy
• Manage construction administration tasks such as shop drawing review, RFI responses, and coordination with construction teams

• BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering
• 1-3+ years of structural engineering experience in commercial building design
• Ability to design for steel, concrete, masonry, light gage steel, and understanding of foundation design
• Proficiency in Revit for creating construction-level structural drawings
• Knowledge of analysis and design programs such as RAM Structural System, SAP2000, RISA, or similar
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Engineer In Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, or the ability to obtain
