Job Description

Trident Consulting is seeking a Structural Engineer for one of our clients in Baltimore, MD .Role: Structural Engineer

Location:Baltimore, MD (Hybrid)Fulltime

Role OverviewWe are seeking a Structural Engineer to support new construction, restoration, and investigative work across commercial, mixed-use, and parking-related projects. This is a key role for a self-motivated engineer ready to lead technical design, support project coordination, and mentor junior staff.Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems
  • Produce and review construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Utilize structural software tools such as RAM, RISA, STAAD, ETABS, or Enercalc
  • Lead project coordination with architects, consultants, and clients
  • Conduct field investigations and assist with forensic and remediation scopes
  • Contribute to schedules, budgets, and overall project delivery

Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in Civil or Architectural Engineering (Structural emphasis)
  • 5–10 years of U.S. structural engineering experience
  • Strong command of IBC, AISC, ACI, and other structural codes
  • Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD and structural design software
  • PE license or the ability to obtain within 12 months
  • Excellent communication skills and project leadership capabilities
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
