Selectek is seeking a Structural Engineer for a contract-to-direct role with one of our partnering companies near Alexandria, Virginia. This firm specializes in building rehabilitation and restoration, so candidates will be working more with existing structures than new building design. Employment Type: Contract to Direct Location: Alexandria, VA Expected Pay Range: $33-$41 before permanent hire conversion based on experience and certification level Job Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering - 1-8 years of structural design experience - Proficiency with Revit - Expertise in Bentley programs like RAM Steel or RAM Concept - Knowledge of building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
