Structural Engineer Intern - Transportation (Fall 2025) - Stantec : Job Details

Our Dynamic New York City Structural team is looking for an intern for the 2025 Summer Term. - - Your Key Responsibilities - - Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for a variety of structural engineering projects ranging from bridges to commuter rail and subway stations. Responsibilities include computer aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple structural calculations, and field inspection. - - Your Capabilities and Credentials - - Minimum requirements include prior exposure to CAD Design programs (Autocad/ Microstation), and current good academic standing in an accredited engineering school. Past experience with Revit and/or Open. Bridge is preferred. - - Education and Experience - - Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters Civil Engineering Program Typical office environment involves working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
