Location: Portland, OR

Position Overview: As a Structural Engineer, you will design structural systems from concept through construction, collaborating with architectural and engineering teams to create buildings that enhance the human experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing structural designs from concept to completion
  • Preparing engineering calculations and system layouts
  • Producing detailed reports and narratives
  • Coordinating with architectural and other engineering disciplines
  • Producing construction documents using Revit
  • Writing and reviewing specifications
  • Reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals
  • Conducting site visits as needed
  • Collaborating within our integrated design team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural/Structural Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • 5-10 years of relevant structural engineering experience
  • Proficiency with structural software (ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, ADAPT, RISA, Enercalc)
  • Strong problem-solving, creativity, and attention to detail skills
  • Knowledge of commercial building materials and systems
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural/Structural Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Structural Engineer (SE) or pursuing licensing
  • Interest in sustainable building design
  • Experience with BIM and Revit workflows
