We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Structural Designer in our New Haven, CT office.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis tasks for projects, including bridge rehabilitation and replacement, under the oversight of a senior engineer.
• Prepare contract documents for bridge design projects, including calculations, plans, specifications, quantities, estimates, and review submissions during construction.
• Develop detailed plans for assigned bridge engineering tasks.
• Conduct occasional field site visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT Certification.
• Up to two years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Code Requirements.
• Knowledge of Structural Engineering and Analysis software.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in team environments.
