Structural Bridge Engineer - Vanasse Hangen Brustlin : Job Details

Perform structural modeling and design of highway, pedestrian and railroad bridges and other structures. Create plans and digital models of the bridges and highway bridge approaches. Perform bridge inspections. Develop construction cost estimates. Prepare contract documents. Review fabrication drawings and provide construction plan reviews. Skills and Attributes Should possess strong technical skills in bridge/structural design of steel, reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete and timber bridges or other structures. Experience developing design reports, plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Self-motivated and commitment to learning. Excellent attention to detail Training and mentoring skills. Effective and comfortable in a highly collaborative team environment Qualifications.
