$66,500-$75,000 base pay (DOE) with generous wage growth

YOUR ROLE
As an entry-level Structural Bridge Engineer, you will be fully engaged in project work, making a difference in the communities you serve. The Engineer will be responsible for structural engineering analysis, design engineering, and project engineering for transportation-related structural projects within the public agency and private market. These responsibilities include:
Serving in a lead or support technical role, depending on project complexity.
Preparation of engineering calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and, at times, task or project management.
Day-to-day structural engineering design decisions on bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects, including production and scheduling.
Working in a team environment, both internally and externally.
Active involvement in client interaction at the project level.
Leverage engineering design software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
Write and complete technical reports and project correspondences.

YOUR STRENGTHS
Master's degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structural
Current Engineer-In-Training (EIT) professional designation or willing to obtain soon after hire
0-3+ years of relevant experience in bridge engineering design work
Understanding of engineering design software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
Principal knowledge of load calculations, structural analysis, and design engineering
Strong communication, both written and verbal
