Streets Maintenance Worker - Town of Pagosa Springs Colorado : Job Details

Performs a variety of entry level semi-skilled duties related to the construction, installation, maintenance, upkeep and repair of town buildings, streets, cemeteries, sidewalks, and other Town infrastructure. Hiring range: $43,659.00 - 51,611.00 dependent on experience and qualifications. Essential Duties Assists Heavy Equipment Operators to complete maintenance tasks on Town Streets, trails, sidewalks, and rights of way. Uses shovels, rakes, weed burners, hand tools, flagging paddles, general light equipment, and other items necessary to complete a task. Uses paints, cleaners, greases, oils, and other chemicals related to maintenance and equipment. Performs sign maintenance. Cleans equipment and equipment yard, removes street side litter, cuts foliage, and disposes of debris. Helps control the flow of traffic and maintain signage in and around project sites to keep staff and the public safe. Repairs fences, gates, walls, and sidewalks; assists in maintaining bridges.
