Responsibilities
  • Lead engagements end-to-end, overseeing planning, execution, and delivery across multiple workstreams.
  • Manage client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring alignment of project delivery with client expectations and strategic goals.
  • Drive strategic problem-solving, synthesizing data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Present findings and value-driven insights to senior client stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Support business development, including proposal development, client pitches, and identifying new whitespace opportunities.
  • Shape client agendas, using industry perspective and strategic acumen to influence outcomes.
  • Develop intellectual property and thought leadership, staying ahead of industry shifts in fintech, AI, and digital innovation.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, providing coaching and cultivating a high-performing, collaborative culture.
  • Contribute to firm growth by bringing new ideas, building capabilities, and expanding the firm's footprint in the Financial Services sector.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in strategy consulting, preferably at a top-tier firm (MBB, Big 4 Strategy, or equivalent).
  • Deep expertise across Financial Services sectors, including: Asset & Wealth Management; Financial Markets Infrastructure (exchanges, custodians, data providers); Banking.
  • Demonstrated leadership in one or more domains: growth strategy & business model innovation; cost transformation & operational performance; deal strategy (due diligence, PMI, carve-outs, 100-day plans); pricing strategy & revenue optimization; data, digital, and platform modernization; emerging tech: AI, analytics, digital product strategy.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams and complex projects.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities with strong storytelling and executive presence.
  • Analytical strength with ability to navigate unstructured challenges and ambiguous data.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, translating insight into impact.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range is $150,000 - $200,000 annually, with a discretionary bonus program based on performance. Benefits include healthcare, retirement plans, paid time off, holidays, and other programs described by the firm. Some information may vary by location and eligibility.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid, in-office role based in New York or Boston.
