Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative business, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • 2 years of experience creating data sets, data modeling, and reporting.

About The Job

The Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) team ensures Google's ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The Global Product Solutions (GPS) Go-to-Market Strategy Operations partners closely with the GPS and regional GTM teams to drive initiatives end-to-end for Global Business Organization (GBO). The team focuses on the commercialization of marketing objectives and horizontals for GBO and develops the GPS/GTM interface to drive outcomes.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are role, level, and location-dependent. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives from start to finish, liaising across Go-to-Market Operations, Business, Finance, and Product. Drive execution of time-critical workstreams by understanding context and developing a prioritized approach.
  • Partner with a Global Product Solutions Leader, advising on product and go-to-market business strategy, and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Lead planning and development of key metrics to track GBO priorities throughout the year in quarterly meetings such as Steercos and Business Forecast Meetings (BFMs).
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for streamlined go-to-market operations based on regional and market feedback.
