Job Description :

Robert Half Marketing & Creative is partnering with a leading manufacturer of industrial coding and labeling solutions used by some of the biggest names in food & beverage.

We're seeking a strategic, technically fluent marketing leader to own Customer Back Innovation (CBI) — identifying unmet needs, shaping value propositions, and guiding new product and market strategies that drive growth.

You'll be the bridge between market insight and product development, working hand-in-hand with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Channel Partners to ensure our solutions stay ahead of market trends in the food, beverage, and manufacturing sectors.

What You'll Do

  • Lead market-driven innovation — capture voice-of-customer insights, assess trends, and translate into profitable product opportunities.
  • Drive product and market strategy — develop segment-specific plans, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Own the innovation pipeline — oversee the stage-gate process from opportunity screening to launch.
  • Champion market expertise — size markets, assess adjacent opportunities, and analyze competitive landscapes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally — partner with Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service to align innovation and execution.
  • Guide launch execution — ensure new solutions are successfully deployed, adopted, and generating measurable results.
  • Lead and develop talent — coach product marketing staff and build future bench strength.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required (Business, Marketing, or Technical discipline); MBA a plus.
  • 5–7+ years progressive experience in strategic marketing, product management, or innovation in manufacturing.
  • Strong exposure to food & beverage manufacturing or industrial equipment markets.
  • Proven ability to create value propositions, conduct voice-of-customer research, and drive new product development.
  • Cross-functional leadership and influence skills.
  • Pricing strategy and financial acumen.
  • Tools: CRM (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), Excel, PowerPoint; Power BI a plus.
