Establish/maintain global market intelligence including industry trends, market drivers, competitive analysis, value chain, and customer needs. Develop and implement near and long-term strategic market segment plans; includes aligning and prioritizing product portfolio, technical capability, production capacities, cost and price targets, cross-region initiatives, and market needs to the strategic plan. Connect the global strategic market segment strategy into the Regions and strategic global key accounts. Develop business cases to support segment strategy and innovation initiatives. Create pull through the value chain by developing relationships and aligning all key external and internal stakeholders. Set market segment value creation strategy for global products within the segment. Incorporate value capture into the sales process through use of commercial excellence tools, branding, and other communication initiatives.
