Job Title: Stormwater Sr. Project Manager

Type: Direct Hire

Work Location: Hybrid position located in Charlotte, NC (3 days/week in office)

Candidates must reside in the Greater Charlotte, NC area.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of Stormwater engineering/industry experience with demonstrated team management experience
  • Professional Engineer License
  • Self-motivated, engaged, and team-oriented with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Strong leadership and project management skills as well as excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of contracts, accounting principles, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Execute multiple tasks under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven track record of fostering existing client relationships
  • Demonstrate personal investment in your career
  • Energetic, flexible, confident, and forward thinking

Physical Requirements

  • The assignment may occasionally require repetitive physical tasks (such as operating a computer), standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, extended time travelling in a vehicle, and carrying equipment and materials up to 25 pounds.

Job Overview

In this role, you will lead, and support projects focused on stormwater management, watershed planning, drainage design, flood mitigation, and environmental compliance. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance water quality, improve infrastructure resilience, and support sustainable development.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design stormwater systems, conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, prepare technical reports, and ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Experience in stormwater management, water resources engineering, or related fields, with proficiency in modeling software such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, or similar tools, is preferred.

Salary Range: Approximately $140,000 - $145,000 per year. This estimate does not account for geographic differential adjustments. Compensation depends on skills and experience.
