Stores Clerk, Per Diem - Mass General Brigham : Job Details

Shift: Per Diem, Day Shift. Under the direction of the Purchasing/ Distribution Supervisor and within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures, responsible for performing various duties in the Storeroom to receive, unpack and issue supplies and equipment. This position is part of the 1199 SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Qualifications. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Unload and unpack shipments verifying contents using purchase orders and packing lists. Transport inventory supplies to proper storage area. Deliver non-inventory items to proper department and receive proper signature as proof of delivery. Receive and fill requisitions from various departments for routine stock items utilizing a personal-computer based materials management software program. Deliver items in a responsible and timely manner. Pack, mark, and ship all merchandise that is being returned by various departments for credit, exchange, or repair.
