Requires excellent verbal and written communication skill, working with both internal and external customers. Under the Supervisor's guidance, expected to review and understand various storeroom functions and foster professional and supportive relationships with internal/external customers. Requires organized, dependable professional with ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail. DEPT. SCOPE OF SERVICE: The Purchasing Department provides five-day coverage Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Purchasing is responsible for ordering, storing and delivering of supplies to all hospital departments by requisitions or carts, and performs other purchasing functions in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Education:
Experience:
- Minimum two years of experience in a purchasing environment preferred.
- Current knowledge of various computer software: Microsoft Office, Word and Excel; digital formatting and Web based online systems.

Compensation Disclosure in Accordance with Vermont Act 155 In compliance with Vermont Act 155, Brattleboro Memorial Hospital provides the compensation range for this position in good faith. The listed range represents the pay scale reasonably expected for a successful candidate based on factors such as relevant experience, education, internal equity, and market competitiveness. Final compensation will be determined during the hiring process. Salary Description $17-20.99 per hour
