Description

Position starts at $60,000-65,700 (dependent upon experience) with annual merit increases and production bonuses. All team members are eligible for a variety of career development and skill training classes at no cost and can enjoy a generous team member discount. Summary

Manages, leads and operates a retail store and donation center by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities are listed below in order of importance, from most important to least important:

  • Ensures compliance with all established Agency policies, procedures and practices.
  • Directs activities for retail store to ensure satisfactory financial performance by managing sales, controlling expenses, handling personnel issues, accounting, merchandising, loss prevention, and staff development.
  • Interviews, hires, and completes onboarding for new hires.
  • Ensures all employees are trained and attend required orientations and classes.
  • Supervises staff and manages staffing needs for regular hours and special events.
  • Coordinates shipments and manages inventory to meet sales goals.
  • Confirms daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensures timely deposits and report submissions.
  • Motivates a positive work environment through communication, incentives, and evaluations.
  • Resolves customer issues to maintain satisfaction.
  • Prices merchandise according to guidelines.
  • Implements seasonal displays, signage, and sales promotions.
  • Reports security or theft issues to Loss Prevention.
  • Works with service programs to ensure proper functioning at store level.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises store employees, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and discipline.

Additional Responsibilities

Performs work of subordinates as needed, serves on management teams, reports maintenance needs, and performs other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and three years retail management experience, or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and reliable vehicle.
