STORE MANAGER
JANS at The St. Regis Deer Valley store is located on the ski-in, ski-out level of The St. Regis, this location offers premium ski rentals for hotel guests, ski tuning, and ski apparel and accessories.
The store Manager will be responsible for driving the company objectives in profit and loss control, sales performance, customer satisfaction, and shrinkage results. Store Managers are also responsible for leading customer interaction and associate talent development daily within their store. Full Time Seasonal position.
Essential Functions of this position include:
- Drive sales and profitability through customer satisfaction and report analysis.
- Effectively schedule for the store, develop payroll plans, and monitor payroll daily to ensure the plan is met.
- Ensure efficient day-to-day operation of the store.
- Uphold JANS-Park Avenue standards for merchandise presentation.
- Responsible for recruitment, interviewing, and hiring across the store.
- Lead consistent evaluation and development of in-store talent.
- Issue appropriate counseling and disciplinary action to associates who fail to meet our performance standard.
- Drive shrinkage results through compliance to all guidelines involved with safety, loss prevention, and cash-handling
Procedures:
- Ensure completion of training requirements is met across the store.
- Monitoring customer feedback and responding to and addressing all customer concerns quickly.
- Protecting Company assets.
- Ensures that the store team is an active brand ambassador within the community through proactively seeking opportunities to engage with the customers and support or participate in community initiatives outside the four walls of the store.
- Supports store marketing events and grow relationships in the community to generate brand awareness and drive traffic.
- Works seamlessly with hotel leadership to provide exceptional service to hotel guests.
- Oversees group rental sales reservations and programs.
Manager of People Responsibilities:

- Define a clear vision and strategy to communicate expectations.
- Demonstrate a flexible leadership style to foster team member engagement including recognition.

Qualifications
Success Profile:
- 3 years Retail Store Manager experience or 5 years of related management experience required.
- World-class customer service skills and interpersonal/communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills.
- Detail orientated and excellent organization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexible availability – including nights, weekend, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, quick response environment.
- Knowledge of alpine gear functionality and application.
- A passion for experiencing the outdoors, along with a willingness to share personal knowledge and encourage others to get outside.
- Bend, lift, open, and move products up to 50 pounds as needed.
