The Role:
We are seeking a Store Manager for our Carrefour Angrignon location. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, passion for sporting apparel and footwear, and strong leadership skills. The Store Manager will oversee all store operations, drive sales, ensure visual standards, and develop a high-performing team dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Motivate and lead the sales team to achieve and exceed weekly/monthly sales targets.
- Implement in-store strategies to improve sales and operational efficiency while adhering to company standards.
- Foster a community atmosphere through excellent customer rapport and service.
- Manage weekly schedules and daily task delegation.
- Increase store sales via inventory management, merchandising, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Oversee end-to-end in-store e-commerce operations, including processing, picking, packing, and shipping orders.
- Reduce inventory shrinkage by investigating discrepancies and resolving issues.
- Handle weekly bank deposits and manage store expenses.
- Develop a talent pipeline and nurture top talent into future leaders.
- Stay informed about new product releases and ensure the team is updated.
- Coordinate with HR to fill open positions and train new staff.
- Manage biweekly payroll submissions for the store team.
- Maintain visual standards set by the merchandising team.
- Organize and host local events and initiatives, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of retail management experience.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills.
- Ability to make critical business decisions confidently.
- Enthusiasm for fashion, sportswear, or footwear.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with data analysis and Excel reporting.
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and independent work ethic.
- Proficiency in iOS-based programs and MS Office suite.
