Stockroom Attendant - Linamar Corporation : Job Details

Starting wage: $17 an hour May need to work every other weekend. Job Summary: Reporting to the Stockroom/ MRO Supervisor, the Stockroom Assistant will support Stockroom and Production control functions as well as provide customer support to Linamar employees and suppliers. Responsibility: Receive deliveries and put stockroom items away in the proper location. Verify packing slip for the amount shipped. Conduct cycle counting, stockroom transactions utilizing the Plex system, and check e-mail daily. Maintain shipping dock cleanliness. Drive mobile equipment to stage items and put them away. Other Duties as assigned. Maintain area cleanliness. Academic/ Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Required Skills/ Experience: 2 years of stockroom experience. Ability to complete required paperwork. Possess problem solving abilities. Possess mechanical aptitude and ability to understand the use of manufacturing inventory items.
