Stocking and Warehouse Associate - Dow technologies : Job Details

We have an exciting opportunity for a Stocking and Warehouse Associate to join our DOW Warehouse team. The Stocking and Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing general warehouse functions with a focus unloading and loading merchandise shipments from trucks to stock and organize the products in the correct places within the warehouse.Hours are 8am-5pm Monday through Friday with some overtime as needed.Full Time position with pay starting at $16.75 per hour.DOW also offers a robust benefit plan including Medical, Dental, 401k plan with a Company match & various other supplement benefit.Job Duties:Perform general stocking duties on a daily basis including storing and stocking products in/on bins, pallets, shelves, racks.Responsible for accurate weekly physical inventory counts.Maintain precise inventory of all product lines on a daily basis.Accurate order pulling and checking, and thorough stocking and organization.Load and unload shipments from all delivery vehicles and common carriers.Process freight and ground shipments accurately.Verify accuracy of warehouse deliveries.Sort, stack, and rotate inventory weekly (FIFO).Accurately pull and fill customer orders.Accurately check pulled orders.Create and update documents using Microsoft Office products.Maintain cleanliness and organization of facility.Employment Conditions:DOW Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.We are a drug free and smoke free work environment.Must be able to pass a post offer background and drug screening.Physical Requirements:Physical activities such as grasping, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending at the waist, and reaching are required on a regular basis.Requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull loads up to 75 pounds in a physically demanding environment.Experience using a pallet jack or pallet stacker to push or pull loads up to 500 pounds.Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled environment.Willing and able to remain on your feet and physically active for 8 to 10 hours per day, depending on workload demands.A constant state of alertness and a commitment to working in a safe manner are essential.Compensation details: 16.75-16.75 Hourly WagePI59baeee5aa3e-31181-#######5RequiredPreferredJob IndustriesOther.
