Sterilization Technician - PRIDE Health : Job Details

Pride Health is hiring Sterile Processing Technician to support our client's hospital facility in Kansas City, KS 66160. This is 13 weeks of contract with possible extension.

INFORMATION:

Location: Kansas City, KS 66160

Shift Time: 8.5hr evenings; 3:00-11:30pm 5 shifts per week

Floating Requirements: Will float to all SPD locations

Weekend Requirements: Yes, as required in rotation

Holiday Requirements: Yes, as required in rotation

Guaranteed hours: 40 hours

Locals' Pay range: $25 - $32/hour

Travel Pay: $1520/Week

Duties

• Perform decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of medical instruments and supplies.
• Operate, maintain, and document cleaning/sterilization equipment.
• Ensure compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards.
• Collect, inspect, and prepare surgical instruments for sterilization, following aseptic techniques.
• Deliver supplies, assist in Endoscopy reprocessing, and participate in training.

Licensure, Registration, And/or Certification Required:

• Education: Highschool or GED or equivalent
• Licensing/Credentialing: CRCST/CSPDT Certification required
• Years of experience: 1-year experience as Sterile Processing Technician
