Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Location: Lander, WY 82520 Duration: 3 months+ Assignment Type: Contract / Travel Shift: 8-hour day shifts Start Time: 7:30 AM End Time: 4:00 PM Experience Required: 2 years recent sterile processing in a hospital setting Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and storage of reusable surgical instruments and supplies.
• Ensures sterile items are:
  • Delivered to the correct location.
  • Delivered on time.
  • In proper condition.
  • Accurately identified.
• Maintains documentation and records of sterilization processes.
• Conducts monitoring and testing of equipment and sterilization procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.

Required Certifications:

• Sterile Processing Certification: Must be currently certified through IAHCSMM or ASHCSP.
• BLS Certification: Must be current and issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Coversheet: Required to be attached to candidate submission/profile.

Notes:

• This is a day shift role (Monday to Friday likely) with 8-hour shifts.
• Strong understanding of infection control, sterilization standards, and equipment handling is required.
• Candidate must be able to work independently and ensure strict compliance with hospital protocols.
