Key responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards. You will also monitor sterilization cycles, document results, and resolve issues promptly to deliver safe, high-quality care. Additionally, you will prepare and organize instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs, and work closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries.

Qualifications required include a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of central sterile supply experience.

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital offering a full range of services, including a Heart Institute, labor/delivery, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, and emergency services. We are a designated Certified Primary Stroke Center and a Level II Trauma Center.
